It is called "The First Volume of the Ecclesiastical History". Measures about 9" X 13" with some cropping and the last two pages have some darkening(seen in picture). This has the cruel death and martyrdom of Adam Damlip. Other leaves available with Woodcuts, large and small. This is from a very well known work of the Christian Persecution that took place up until the end of the 16th Century!! It has been told that there was more persecution in the 20th Century than all the previous Centurys combined. I also have leaves with Woodcuts and specific leaves with well known Biblical Scholars of the early days of Biblical printing/Martyrology. Your purchase will be sent with acid free sheets for protection. PLEASE NOTE: it is recommended that antiquarian cloth leaves be framed with archival(and acid free) materials, or if stored(this offers the best protection), with acid free materials. Avoiding direct sunlight or fluorescent lighting is highly recommended(avoiding any light is best). If you are not going to frame your leaves, let me know and I can include two acid free sheets to protect your leaves.
