What a great find! This is a vintage, @1930's, Drift Sight that was made specifically for the U.S. Navy by Maxwell Smith Co., Los Angeles, California. All kinds of nifty buttons, cranks, hidden paper compartment, three colored lenses (green, yellow, red). The metal plate on the top notes "Optical Head and Post, Mark II-C Pelorus, BU. Areo. US Navy" among other information - see photo. This piece is in good condition - see photos for condition. We do not know if it works and it is being sold "as is". It measures @ 7" L x 14.5" H x 5" W.
