Anatomici Summi - Joannem & Hermannum Verbeek - Leidae: Verbeek, 1761, 295 pages., 89 copper engravings, plates from I-XXXXVII - apart from the first two pages (prefix), has the whole book only 6 errors internally and very minor marks - Tabula 9 with a rip - Tabula (plate respectively engraving) 18 N°1 missing a small edge (please have look at the photo) - Tabula 23 N°1 restored - Tabula 26 with a rip (please have look at the photo) - Tabula 29 with a rip (please have look at the photo) - Tabula 42 (N°2) engraving missing one big edge (please have look at the photo) - this book does not missing a single page or plate - complete - the first two pages with errors - in former times the book was covered with paper, the paper is detached nearly completley but the leather from the cover is still in a good condition, the spine of the book has two errors at each end respectively a piece of the leather is lost. Corners and edges of the book are grated. The block is compact. - all other tabula (plates) respectively engravings and pages in a very good condition - this book-> tabularum anatomicarum from Albini is one of the rarest medicine books in Europe and I guess it was never offered on Ebay - overall in a good to very good condition - few marks trivial defects internally - pages PLATES EXTRAORDINARILY FRESH AND CLEAN - This is a beautiful copy of a handsome edition of a work that comprises 18th century - Siegfried Albinus (1697-1770) of a series of anatomical plates - 355 x 245 mm.
