Some of the dry plate boxes had Han-kow written on them and mention the AMS(American Missionary School). That city is now known as Wuhan, the capital of the Hubei province. I am dating these at about 1905 to 1915 from the Ilford Special Rapid Plates box they are in. The image shown in the listing is a scan of the negative from a $50 scanner and the photo image was made using free photo software. This is the last group I will be listing for the final week. I had said it would be the last group last Sunday but time caught up to me and I had a few left to list. This time I really mean it. I will ship to Asia and I will take special care to double box these. This negative is a little over or under exposed. It shows a Chinese man standing.
