Geo. A. Custer and indicates specifically where 202 U.S. soldiers (Custer's entire command) fell in 1876.  Other locations of interest include Custer Battlefield, Indian Encampment, Monument, Reno Creek, Reno's 1st Position, Reno's 2nd Position, Reno's Advance, Reno's Retreat, Reno's Entrenchment and many more!  Of particular interest is the 1891 railroad lay-out (the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad).  Listed as the MONTANA - CUSTER BATTLEFIELD SHEET.   This is an authentic 1891 survey U.S.G.S. Topographical Map reproduced in black and white and distributed by the Midcontinent Map Company until my father bought them out back in the mid '80s. These maps are not available anywhere else!  If you are a serious relic hunter these maps can be invaluable!  Shows the railroads and the topography of the land at the time of the survey. Shows the then current layout of all creeks and waterways. The top 1/4 portion of this map has a scale of 1/24000 which is 1 inch equals 2000 feet!  The scale of the larger bottom portion is 1/5280 which is approximately 1 inch equals 440 feet.  Actual size of map is 18 1/4" X  22" with viewable portions being 16 1/8" X 19 1/2".  This map is a more modern copy, is crystal clear, and is in mint condition!   Shipping InfoUnited States and Canada: For standard-sized maps (18" X 24" or less) you have two shipping options: Tube-shipping is available for $6 and is good for as many maps as you have shipped together at the same time.
