The Japanese fishing boats lose their floats far out in the ocean and the currents bring them directly to our northwestern beaches. This is an orange float made of a heavy duty plastic. It is unique because the two ropeholds are placed on opposite sides of the float. The floats we usually find have two ropeholds standing side-by-side on the top of the float. It has endured a wild ride in the ocean as well as exposure to the wind, sun and salt; yet it remains intact with no leaks or cracks, and it still floats.  There is raised writing on the float that says “UrokoFloat 13-10”  This float is an excellent addition to any home or garden with a nautical décor. Folks like to hang them on their fences, use them to spice up their gardens or give their back decks the look and feel of a real live wharf.
