NURSE&GLOBE&RED CROSS STAMPS,77+YRS OLD BLOCK Issued in 1931 these 77+ years old unused plate number block of 8 stamps commemorates the 50th anniversary of the founding of the American Red Cross by Clara Barton. The stamps depict a nurse, "the greatest mother", overlooking the globe, and a Red Cross. This is the first stamp ever issued by the ups to depict a nurse and only the 3rd stamp ever issued to depict a woman. The stamps are 77+ years old and an absolutely extraordinary collectible in pristine condition for its age.
