Place a bid
This auction is for a pair of very old cast iron horse bits. These are very unique and I can't imagine placing these in a horses mouth. They are chain-link style with pointed "teeth". The pitting on these is very slight. My horse advocate friends at Chuchhill have never seen this type either. The rings are 2 and 3/4 inch across and the length of these is about 13 inches. These could possibly have been used for an animal other than horse, I'm uncertain about this. A wire has been used on one of the bits where a pin is missing. They are very solid and in fine condition considering their age. Please contact me for any questions. Thank you for viewing. |
