The table has some lovely carvings on each side of the stretchers; also, on the upper part of the legs. The table has been constructed in a traditional manner where all the joints are pegged. This is a sign of good quality and age. As you can see in the photos, underneath the top, each individual section of the parquet is hand cut. The table is in excellent condition considering its age. The colour of the table is a medium to dark oak as you would expect from a period piece.   The photos really give a good indication of the detail of the item. DIMENSIONS: 30 inches high by 54 long and 43 wide.
