Hi Thanks for looking at this vintage Antique Doctors bag , its in Burgandy leather , has a metal rim and opening, a strong solid carry handle, measures  13 inches by 8 inches front and sides , from top to bottom its 11 inches , the inside is fully lined ion a green fabric, there is some waer to the bag as it has obviously had plenty of use, so its good to use or just to have as a collectable. I dont know the story of the bag as I picked it up in a Paris antique market some time ago GOOD LUCK....
